Available on arrival at the Presidente Nicolau Lobato International Airport in Dili for periods of 30 days at USD 30/person. Owners of portuguese passport are entitled to a free visa for 90 days. Departure Tax USD 10/person.

Health Risks

Malaria, dengue and japanese encephalitis. It is strongly recommended that you visit a travel health clinic for the necessary vacinnation and health advise at least a month before departure and that you take a comprehensive travel insurance which covers emergency medical evacuation.

Electricity

220V, 50 Hz; 24-hour electrical supply is not guaranteed even in Dili and you may encounter the problem of power shortage in some regions of the country. Electrical socket tend to be the two-round-pin European fittings, Australian three-pronged fittings or Singaporean three-pin fittings. A multi-fittings travel adaptor is a good idea.
